POMO is a multi-awarded Placemaking Design and Delivery practice based in Melbourne and in Queensland. We specialise in creative placemaking design and delivery.

This means we do all facets of design and project delivery - from inception through to handover. Our projects can be temporary but are just as often part of permanent public realm projects.

We have a unique Placemaking Design Process developed over a decade of practice that:

1. Unifies stakeholders and/or community around a shared vision for a place
2. Draws on place narratives, local culture and identity to create a unique, creative design concept
3. Develops the design concept collaboratively and achieves all relevant standards and certifications
4. Sees us working alongside artists, specialty fabricators and hand picked tradespeople to deliver the shared vision into the public realm to the highest quality standards for permanent or temporary use

We are typically engaged directly by local governments or engaged as sub consultants working in teams led by Landscape Architects or Architects.

Our work helps make successful public places, it creates activity and drives local economic outcomes.
