POMO is an award winning Creative Placemaking Design and Delivery Consultancy with offices in Melbourne and Queensland.

POMO manages all aspects of the design and delivery process - from research and stakeholder engagement through to the final handover. Our projects form part of permanent or temporary public realm works.

We have developed a unique Placemaking Design Process through more than a decade of testing and trialling. This process:

1. Brings people together around a shared vision whether this be community members or internal stakeholders
2. Uses place narratives, culture and place identity to develop unique “people and place” focused design concepts
3. Collaboratively develops the design through full documentation and is fully compliant with all certifications and standards
4. Involves hands-on fabrication and construction often in conjunction with specialty fabricators, artists, community members and unique tradespeople. We hand over the project to you, built according to the highest standards and without compromising the original creative vision.

We can be engaged directly by developers, by local governments or as sub consultants inside teams led by Architects or Landscape Architects.

Our work creates successful public places and makes identifiable contributions to local economies and community capacity building.
