QHA FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
The Queensland Hotels Association (QHA) is the peak industry body in Queensland for the hotel and hospitality industries. The QHA and its members are also important stakeholders in the tourism industry in Queensland. They also run community focused fundraising campaigns throughout the year.
WHAT WAS POMO'S METHODOLOGY?
QHA Hotel Care is a special annual project, aimed at raising much-needed funds for medical research and Queensland's regional hospitals. QHA Hotel Care's major beneficiaries are Mater Foundation and PA Research Foundation.
Each September for the past ten years, more than 230 hotels across Queensland have participated in QHA Hotel Care and have collectively raised more than $2.2 million for this worthy cause. With all funds raised donated to the beneficiaries.
POMO has been involved for over ten years with this campaign, specifically to develop and design the creative collateral and to manage the print production. The various print design products then play a key role in the fundraising activities across Queensland.
The point of purchase marketing material developed and created by POMO regularly include donation boxes and posters. In past years, celebrities have lent their faces to the campaign including Ian Healy and Dr. Andrew Rochford both of whom POMO worked with to art direct during photo shoots required for the creative material.
